INTRO TO AGILITY I: Thursday’s 9:00 – 10:00 am for 7 weeks begins February 11, 2010. This class is for dogs and handlers of all ages. Dogs will learn to safely negotiate the obstacles and respond to basic handling cues. Handlers will learn how to give these cues! We will engage in discussions concerning the regulations of various venues and the best level of activity for your dog based on his age and condition. I will be your instructor AND coach to help you reach your goals. $100
AGILITY SKILLS: Tuesday’s 8:00 - 9:00am – Advanced and 9:00 - 10:30 am Novice – ongoing every Tuesday – Themed each week on a specific skill(s). We work to perfect handling skills and problems areas. Requests are taken from the participants for subjects to work on. Good for all levels of expertise. Drop-ins welcome $12 or 8 sessions for $90 (do not need to be sequential)
NOVICE AGILITY: Wednesday’s 9:00 – 10:00 am – Ongoing class for teams who have graduated from Intro II. We will learn sequencing, side switches, working at a distance and more complex handling. Drop-ins welcome $12 or 8 sessions for $90 (do not need to be sequential)
INTERMEDIATE AGILITY: Thursday’s 7:30-8:45pm – ongoing – Handling and problem solving for the dog who is already trialing or is ready to trial. Discussion of rules and regulations, practice of typical sequences, introduction to new handling methods, positive coaching. Drop-ins welcome $12 or 8 sessions for $90 (do not need to be sequential)
